Tie in peacock herl on top of the hook. |
Evenly wind peacock herl up to just short of eye of hook and secure with a turn of thread. Then wind in red holographic tinsel in reverse to tie in peacock herl, leaving even gaps to form rib and tye off. |
Take another cock feather and pull off tip to form a V shape at the top of the feather |
Tie in on the underside of the hook with 2 loose turns of thread and pull feather until you are happy with the position of the fibres. |
