A special award was given to Fred Hart to acknowledge the work he has done to keep our facilities in good order.

2009 Competition

10th April 2009 -Ann Kean has kindly informed me of some notable catches. With Dave Howells and Ivor Thomas both putting in claim forms for heaviest rainbow @ 3lb 9oz. Also, Gwyn Davies has weighed in a 3lb 10oz fish (no claim form) and Steve Kean a 3lb 8oz rainbow (with a huge tail and almost certainly overwintered). 

30th April 2009-Plenty of larger specimens have been caught in April with  Viv Jenkins capture of a fin perfect overwintered 4lb two and a half ounce rainbow from the bank on Sunday the 19th April, currently holding pole position.  

27th September- 13 year old Jessie Debarcoe caught a fantastic 5lb 12oz Rainbow while boat fishing on the bottom reservoir.

2009 Bank Winner- Steve Kean with a 5lb 11oz fish caught on the 17th of September with a dry fly. 

2009 Boat Winner- Junior angler Jessie Barcoe caught a 5lb 15oz fish while fishing with his mentor Dave Scribbins on the 27th of October. Jessie must also be congratulated on the 5lb 12oz fish he caught in September. The result of which is that he caught the two largest recorded trout from the reservoirs in the 2009/10 season.

2009 Opening Weekend Winner- James Rice caught a 3lb 1.5oz Rainbow Trout from the bank to claim the honours.
